Advance opens up new possibilities for CAR T-cell therapy to treat a variety of cancers

School of Pharmacy faculty members Tanja Kortemme and Tejal Desai both received honors at the annual meeting of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering.

Professor and department chair Tejal Desai, PhD, had the honor of keynoting the 2017 Bioengineering High School Competition (BioEHSC) held recently at UC Berkeley. BioEHSC is hosted annually by the Bioengineering Honor Society (BioEHS) at Berkeley.
