QBI and Rezo Therapeutics present Dario Alessi, Director and Principal Investigator for the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit at University of Dundee. Dario is a biochemist whose research focuses on unravelling the roles of poorly characterised components which regulate protein phosphorylation or ubiquitylation pathways linked to human disease.

As executive director, I oversee all administrative aspects of the MTM program. My primary responsibility is to maintain an effective cross-campus program.

Other responsibilities include:

Budget and campus administrative functions. Marketing and student recruitment. Act as GSAO for students on both campuses. Assist in development of capstone projects. Assist in running the capstone course. Maintain relationships with program alumni.

Lounge Ligands is a new art installation by QBI artist-in-residence John Walter, hosted by Professor Brian Shoichet



Located in Mission Bay, San Francisco, Lounge Ligands is comprised of a bespoke bar, hosted by the artist, serving free gin and tonics, and decorated with a series of new ligand-inspired quilts, videos and a live band.
