We are thrilled to announce that Michael Fischbach and Xin Chen have won prestigious Apple Teaching Awards for Fall 2015.

These awards recognize faculty members whose student evaluations rank Outstanding, equaling or exceeding a score of 4.5 on a scale of 1 to 5. Dean Joe Guglielmo said that Xin and Michael had “made the classroom come alive for our students; [their] expertise and commitment to helping students learn has enriched the academic experience of our students in untold ways.”

Both Xin and Michael have won this award multiple times—and, in the case of Xin, she has earned it an extraordinary 11 times!
