Renowned researcher and educator Matthew Jacobson, PhD, has been named the new chair of the UCSF School of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. His appointment by Dean B. Joseph Guglielmo, PharmD, will be effective January 15, 2016.
Michael Fischbach, PhD, is the recipient of a 2010 NIH Director’s New Innovator Award from the National Institutes of Health. Fischbach is a faculty member in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences, UCSF Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine.
The Center for Drug Development Science (CDDS), located in Washington, DC, has joined with the UCSF School of Pharmacy to advance the safe and effective use of drugs.
