THE
CAMPUS
One of nine
campuses of the University of California, UCSF is a world-class
health and biomedical sciences campus for graduate and professional
students only. It includes four professional schools (Medicine,
Pharmacy, Nursing, and Dentistry); graduate programs in basic
and behavioral sciences; two health policy institutes; three hospitals;
an ambulatory care center; a student union (www.cas.ucsf.edu),
which houses a gymnasium, fitness center, and pool, and sponsors
numerous arts, cultural, recreational, and outdoor activities;
and a Library and Center for Knowledge Management (www.library.ucsf.edu).
A second San Francisco campus is currently under construction
at Mission Bay (www.ucsf.edu/missionbay/).
