The Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences moves forward through the work of its primary faculty and staff and under the leadership of Co-chairs Kathy Giacomini, PhD, and Sarah Nelson, PhD
We are inspired by the varied perspectives of our talented students and postdoctoral scholars and are connected to the larger research community worldwide through a network of PhD alumni, and adjunct and affiliated faculty members. Scientists in academia, industry, and government are important colleagues. And we consider our donors, who share our commitment to finding better therapeutics to diagnose and treat disease, as partners in our work.
In all ways, the number of people who work daily to accomplish our mission is multiplied by our larger community of students, research colleagues, and like-minded friends.
