The Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences shares its expertise nationally and internationally through courses for professionals in industry, regulatory agencies, academia, and health care.

American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (ACDRS)

This course provides education and training in the field of medical product development at an advanced level. The program is targeted to:

Participants attend 3 session blocks per year for 2 years, which focus on the drug development pipeline with emphasis on clinical trial and regulatory sciences. Two courses are offered, one in Washington, DC, and one in San Francisco, California.

Pharmacokinetics for Pharmaceutical Scientists (PKPS)

This course covers the basic principles of pharmacokinetics with emphasis on physiologic conceptualization and problem solving. The course aims to greatly enhance pharmacokinetic knowledge and integrate pharmacokinetic principles and concepts into everyday practice. It is targeted to:
